Yes, I've seen videos of them attacking hummingbirds! Crazy! Not sure if he was after his reflection, each jump had him landing on top of my lens, not the glass. I am beginning to like the lens more & more.

He did it several times, did not appear to be afraid of me at all. I learned they do a little "wiggle" as they're getting ready to jump. What is your flash setup Mike? Can't get over the detail you can extract from a crop sensor & such a tiny subject. I know, the crop sensors are great, I'd love the 90D for macro.

Pigpen101 Goldmember More info Post edited over 2 years ago by Pigpen101. | I have a Yongnuo flash on each side, Vello wire & triggers , small (6x9) soft box on each flash. I used to have a plastic cutting board bent over my subjects (like a rainbow) & the flash heads w/ boxes fire through that for extra diffusion. That was with a set of bellows & everything was tiny. The cutting board isn't nearly big enough but need to work on more/better diffusion.

They constantly and I mean constantly move, unless stopping for food. At best they are 2 or 3mm, and it seems there might be 2 different ones here, but it could just be the innards are showing in #3 Once again - the snout mites "Bdellidae". ![]() ![]() ![]() Paul. Below you can see what I end up with after removing dust spots in Photoshop - this is a spittle bug taken this evening: ![]() Looks OK doesn't it? Now see what it started off like!!! ![]() Sensor cleaning kit arriving Tuesday! Paul.
There are now just a few dust spots and the cloning will be reduced massively, but another swab session might remove the remaining bits. Paul. My site: http://www.pauliddon.co.uk
