I managed to get a good angle on this Paper Wasp this morning, still snoozing on the nest.:-)

This was at approx. x2.5:1 with the Canon MP=E65 macro lens, a stack of 5 frames in PS CC to extend the DOF.

Yes, I think I'm going to have to try to dial in 4:1 on the MP-E65 and see if I can zoom in further on those "feet", as they look quite interesting.:-)

I was photographing this fungi and I noticed it was teeming with life...moving in for a closer look revealed many "bugs" dining on the fungi.
Nature is amazing!!

Yep..I just sat there a minute and thought about how much "life" and workings goes on that we don't even see or think about.:-D

Thanks..I was excited about the globular springtail..but when I returned to the fungi to try and photograph them they were no where to be found -?
