Yes - I have tried various options of how to get OC flash. I found rings were not the best, esp with the MP-E.

This was the setup used for those

I then moved to this flexible arm arrangement

Wow, neat. Is that flexible arm secure enough to support the flash?

Likely a pupa is ready for being a butterfly or moth.

I have no idea the small fly is the owner or visitor of the property.
It's really small. The cocoon/nest/dung is long-grain rice size. The fly is up to 1mm in length.

Yes - very sturdy as it is really a coolant flexible hose with end-stops.... I started looking at these some 10yrs back and picked up parts to get the length needed.

Bit of February bugging. Nothing much but woodlice really, though a few of the usual suspects are maybe starting to show up. Strong winds outside tonight though...

Couldn't agree more!

And even the discovered ones are also difficult to "discover". For instance, there are 2880 Diptera (True Flies) officially registered in Singapore. On the contrary, there are 326 Aves (Birds) (326) only in Sg.

Question to owners of Laowa macro lens, does "focus peaking" work with thia lens, or does the camera need the contacts ? Thanks

Focus peaking works on my EOS R10 with all LAOWA manual lenses.

Paul.
