The eggs seem to be huge compared to the size of the bug.

Thanks very much! I'll be keeping an eye on her over the next few days, and will hopefully catch the young as they emerge.

I spent over an hour trying to get a decent shot of a flying Hoverfly. I thought that, because they hover, it would be relatively easy. Nope. This was the best of a bad bunch.

Nice try with the hovering hoverfly. They are tough to do. I have many attempts too, might post some in the future.
