I've been playing with this image in post on and off for some time but not getting the color results I like. So I switched to black and white. Would appreciate comments; I don't spend a lot of time with black and white.

I think the conversion is done nicely.

Try moving the blue saturation slider around and darkening the sky. Not sure it will help, but something to try.
