Was using a set of Altec Lansings which I actually liked a lot but found a nice deal on a new set of Tascam mini-monitors. The cool factor, plus a
little more modern design has me listening more these days.

Nice, I went through a lot of "computer speakers" over the years before finally getting a pair of the Audioengine A2e powered mini-monitors a number of years back. They've lasted me the longest of any set of computer speakers I've owned so far.

Hopefully those give you many years of service.

Yes, those look awesome. On the next upgrade for sure. Never too many music systems in the house.

Nice upgrade from Altec, wouldn't you say?:lol:

Yeah, I finally got tired of "computer speakers" about 6 years ago. Found a pair of nice Bose speakers at a neighbor's garage sale for about $40, and rigged it up with an old subwoofer with a 2-way output. Subwoofer finally died in 2016...so I just scrapped the subwoofer and replaced with a basic no-name $27 amp from Amazon. 2x20 watts....works great for computer usage.
