A couple of weeks ago I found this guy walking the spillway at John Redmond Reservoir. Fast forward to this past Tuesday, I was standing on my deck, drinking my morning coffee. Didn't have my camera, and I notice one of these walking down my driveway. I just froze watching in disbelief. He calmly walked one way then back the other disappearing behind my garage and flying off. I live in the country, don't have a pond, closest one is about 3/4 mile away, don't know why it chose to land and walk my driveway. The driveway is only 60 ft from where I was at.

You might want to check your neighborhood for missing frogs and toads. <G>

You might want to check for missing ANYTHING THAT MOVES!! These guys will eat anything they can cram down their mouths. I've seen them eat all kinds of crazy stuff from giant tilapia to snakes, rats,, baby birds like moorhens and ducks, and even baby alligators. They are voracious!!!!!

Ok, well I do know my dogs and cats are accounted for, since they were inside the house. It's hard to say if it grabbed anything, there was a baby rabbit hanging around, don't know if it's still here or not. Thanks for the info.
