Cool perspective. Is the background blur done in post? Or are my eyes just tired tonight?

Yes i used the lens blur filter with a gradient mask to enhance the depth of field of the original to hide all of the construction equipment on the runway just behind the aircraft whilst keeping the sky relatively blur free. Masking the aircraft so that it remained sharp.
