Asteroid Vesta (tripod only)

Hey all,

Long time, no astro pics. Just a few quick snaps of Vesta as it's passing by, stack below with arrow highlighting the visitor.

Stack of 10 pics, 30mm f1.8, 5sec, ISO 800, tripod only, no tracking, heavy handed curves adjustments, taken an hour ago (link is full res, resizingit smaller doesn't do it just but can crop it if link is no good?):

Just managed to process four nights worth of quick captures. Saved into an animated gif, one frame per night starting on the 5th July including tonight.

There's a couple of weird artifacts, but top left you can see Vesta moving along, and Saturn bouncing around in the middle.

Alignment between frames isn't great, will have to practice my post processing more but this shows some cool movement between nights ...
