It isn't really wrong, only that having more threads of the same kind as existing ones means that people interested in that kind of photography might not want to check so many places in order to catch all of it. I saw that you were new and figured you might not have taken the grand tour of POTN and found out where everything was.

Just FYI, street photography also often appears in the B&W section. Some people post the same shots there and in Urban & Travel.
