Apologies for filling up this thread with frogs, but here are two from my backyard tonight

The Green Tree Frog that regularly visits:

I am not a turtle expert, but I think this might be a Worrell's Short-necked Turtle? Taken at Fogg Dam today

Correction: someone told me it's a Yellow-faced Turtle - can't see the difference though

Today I took the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM with me for Eastern Water Dragon shots.

It proved a much more suitable lens than the RF 600mm I used the previous day, due to the closer Minimum Focusing Distance of approx. 1 metre compared to the 4.2 metres of the RF 600mm.

And it was so much lighter, more manoeuvrable and attracted less stares.

Thanks Richard! Yes, Michael and his wife, who were looking after this youngster, have been doing it for 17 years. At one stage they were looking after 39 baby bats at the same time! Dedication indeed!
