Anyone use or have used these? RapidMount SLX for Speedlights (external link)

I"m thinking of getting a couple to use when in places I can't setup stands. My concern is the sticky tape. Anyone have them come loose and fall? How about when you remove them, peeling the paint or worse off the wall?
