What do people think of the new Vizelex ND Throttle Fusion Smart AF adapter? How does it compare it to the original version that lacks the ability to do autofocus and other communication with the lenses?

I have a Sony A7RII, and apparently I also have the original Vizelex ND Throttle Lens Mount Adapter. I thought it had been stolen. But cleaning out a closet drawer I found it, never used. We have a major problem with package theft in our neighborhood, and so I just chalked it up to another stolen package. I'm totally kicking myself because I would have been using it for the past 9 months like mad. (please don't rub it in, I'm pissed off enough)

I am really interested in the new version however. That it is able to communicate with the Canon lenses to enable autofocus, aperture control, IS, etc. I may sell this guy and then buy the new one instead.

So I was curious if anyone has experience using this adapter with the Canon 11-24mm f/4 L or the 24-70mm f/2.8 L II? Is the performance of the variable ND filter the same as the original, better, worse? Does the AF control work well, is it super slow or inaccurate? I assume aperture control is just fine. Neither of my current Canon lenses have IS, but a telephoto that I get likely will, so experience with that is also appreciated. I am looking at either a 70-200 or 100-400 some time soon(ish), perhaps for the holidays this year.

Thanks.
