its been a few months since i've done a portrait session,, life got in the way just as I was getting comfortable with my biggest challenge,, dealing with people .. I admit I was rusty.. I didn't guide the "model" enough.. wish I would have asked for a few smiles..

edited in a variety of looks..

any further CC would be welcomed..

Shot with Fuji xt2 and Sigma 18-35 F1.8 , Canon ef 50 f1.4 .. via Fringer Adapter(yeah , it misses focus sometimes)

I think #4 is the winner. Lovely model, but I don't think #3 is flattering. You could crop it at her waist and I think it would be better.

I like #4 the best also, although I’m not crazy about the background.

On the first bw image... have you tried to play with the green values - luminosity, saturation to see if you can tone that down a bit. Also be careful of going so contrasty - her hair drops into just black blotches.

4 as noted has promise... background is competing some.... but like the pose. Going tighter on the crop might help this image.

And actually 5 I think has real potential. Interesting pose. I would try to recrop to minimize the blob-o-rock. But for her... its a good angle.

My money is on #4, I like the composition, expression, and the color of her hair

There's something about #1, I love it! The tight crop works for me.

Like said, #4 is good as well
