Hey y'all! I'm selling my very well-taken care of Elinchrom Ranger RX Speed AS with the S head. I've had it for around two years now and love it.
This is a very powerful, bright strobe that is meant for on-location shoots and durability. It ain't fragile by any means! It has two ports, so if you want to buy a second A or S head, you can easily do so. The power is divided asymmetrically between the two ports with a 2:1 output. Port A outputs a range of 17Ws-1100Ws, while port B outputs a range of 7Ws-366Ws. In plain english, this strobe is equally as bright as you could want it as it is dim. Power will never be an issue with this strobe, even in the most challenging of circumstances.
I'm selling it because I'm wanting to buy a Profoto B1X. While the Elinchrom is a great strobe, I'm finding the B1X will better fit my individual needs as a photographer.
While the unit is an older model, there are no issues with it. I recently replaced the battery as well, so there should be absolutely no issues with longevity. This can easily shoot over 1000 shots at half power without dying on a shoot–I've done it.
