Unidentified Dragonfly..........any​one know what it is? *Now identified as a WHITE TAILED SKIMMER!

Thank you. She is laying eggs and this is pretty much the only time other than mating you get close, as the female wonders off all over the place looking for males. She was on a small stick at the time and still flapping her wings so slowly gliding over the pond.

Not strictly macro, but I figured they fit better here than in another forum....

7D2 + 500/4 II. The 500mm does insects pretty well, I must say! :D

Gear List
