Excellent shots! I have never been able to capture one flying towards me as in your second post - well done!

Thanks for commenting.

What you commented is the reason we love photography, especially wildlife. We want to get great photos but don't know what we can capture before leaving the house.:-)

I love this shot. Great capture.
I’m really looking forward to the dragonfly/damselfly season starting here.
Out of interest, has anyone been able to compare the Canon RF 100mm f2.8L Macro to the EF version?

Very nice shot of the female dragonfly ovipositing. She really takes a swipe rather than just popping the surface. That is a great capture of details that we would normally miss with just our eyes. Congrats, and thanks for sharing.

I think this is the first time I've seen one of these actually land and stay still long enough to get a photo

Very nice. Where were these taken? I've been to Singapore, and I think the best place for dragonflies is Pulau Ubin.

Thanks for your comments.

Very glad to hear you had ever been in Singapore!

Dragons are not uncommon in SG nowadays. They are available from a pond for photograph 24/7 :p

Long time had never been to Palau Ubin, it's marked on my radar map now.
