Hello,
Aside from a Canon original battery, what 3rd party batteries would you recommend? I have a Lenmar that gave up the ghost, it won't take a charge. The other 3rd party battery seems to be holding a charge at the moment , hopefully that will continue. Thank you for any suggestions.

There are plenty on FleaBay for less than £20. They use Nimh cells so even the cheapies should be reasonably good.

If you are into DIY then others have stripped down the Canon paccks and replaced the original AA cells with more modern ones of much higher capacity. However, given the price of the third party packs, is it worth it?

Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).

"The Source" rebuilds batteries for various devices. Perhaps give them a call first to check if they can do camera batteries. Locations in Nova Scotia are shown at https://www.thesource.ca …31100000004&q=nova+scotia (external link).
