Haven't been real active on the boards in a long while, especially in this room. Let's try to change that..... Here are a few from a lil "get to know each other" session I shot the other day with a local rising Senior. We've got two more sessions booked with him, with some ideas that should produce some interesting material.
As always, I welcome CC, but please refrain from editing "to demonstrate" your thoughts, lol.

Very cool! The 1st one makes me jealous of the wall! Wish I had one like that! On the second one, the vignette seems a little dark and I wonder if you tried some different overlay modes for the text if it would look like the text was in the clouds?

I like the first one; although I would try to refrain from using a background where the pattern mimics the clothing when possible.

The second shot, I see what you were going for; but, it looks a bout 1/3 to 2/3 underexposed. Also, the leading lines of your architecture lead the eye away from your subject and immediately out of the frame. This one might have been better (although you'd lose the school itself) if it had been shot from about 3 feet to the left, so that the background wall and the one he's sitting on led the eye 'through' him and out of the frame.

I like the pose and expression (hard to do with guys this age sometimes) on these but both are underexposed, the second more so. The vignette is not necessary in the first and just way overdone in the second. A good vignette does not call attention to itself.
