Looking for a good, powerful on camera flash. After some research, found these three ( I already have Canon 600 and 580 flashes and looking something more powerful).

So can you tell which among these is best

Qflash TRIO vs Profoto A1 vs Flashpoint StreakLight 360

If there is something better than these three please suggest.

You're using it bracketed, near camera axis? Or do you intend to use it also as a standalone strobe on a light stand?

The Streaklight is something I worked with a lot, as I was playing with a portable setup that would have sufficiently short flash duration or jump into HSS. I discovered the Streaklight on my way to buying a second SB-800 and external recycler - at the time, recyclers were $250, and a full Streaklight setup was $300, which was basically getting a free light. As prices came down I bought more units. I used it a lot as a fill flash, with high key sun as ambient. It's awesome. But I also shot a lot of studio and studio quality location stuff with them.

I can't personally speak for the Trio but, comparing on specs alone, the Streaklight wins for me. Output, HSS, price.

I think Profoto is only good if you intend to build a Profoto system and want your on camera flash to play well with you "studio" strobes. Outside of this narrow context, its output vs. price is simply a joke.

Thanks, Iam looking for a flash that can mount on my camera (5D mark IV) and is powerful enough to take photos in big halls where light could be an issue .
I understand that the options I have pointed out have Li batteries and will have minimum recycle time, at the same time I am looking for a flash that has very good power.

I have 3 of the 360 flashes and while they could be mounted on camera I would not want to do that, at all.

Are you shooting people at an event?

Have you used a regular speedlight in the same capacity?

Edit: bad reading comprehension.

Profoto doesn't need an external battery pack, right? That would be a big selling point, but my go-to set up would be a 580 on camera and a couple of lights on stands around the room to boost "ambient"

I have used 600 on my canon for the after party group photos , its okay, not great, when the hall is big, i have to do lot of corrections on lightroom to remove those dark areas, I would prefer some good flash that would bounce really well.

I edited my post.

What ISO are you usually shooting? Running it up higher than you might usually be comfortable with is often a good starting point.

Usually I do not go too high on ISO , as I do not want the photo to be grainy , though Mark IV has remarkable ISO range, so I depend on good lighting so that it will be easier to process in lightroom.

If you haven't run it up to 6400 with the 600EX and a bounce card, I'd give that a shot before investing any time and money in an on camera set up. I am comfortable with 3200 and even 6400 with my 6D, the 5D IV can get there fine as long as you don't underexpose.

And that brings me to another point. The 360 and I'm pretty sure those other options, use a reflector that makes it a little difficult to use a bounce card and easily switch portrait/landscape.

Sorry if this is too far off track, but since you're new here (welcome, btw) check these out:

That's more along the lines of what I do if ambient requires more than 3200/6400. Except I'm not that good.
