Brilliant image. Odd year here as well. I found a jumper just a few days ago, by far the latest I've seen one.

Thanks!

We still have those here too. It has been too warm lately -currently 21C at 8PM when it was about 17C when I came home at 5PM. Lots of rain and thunderstorms. We have had two "Medicanes" -a cyclone like storm in the Mediterranean. Normally we have maybe one of them every 3 or 4 years.

That is such a great pose! Looks like something Pixar would create.

My son Eddy found this lethargic Bumblebee on his way home from school. Cool partly cloudy conditions slowed it down. After chilling on my hand for a while I managed to get it on a Daisy and feed it some Agave nectar.

Tech Specs: Canon 80D (F13, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (set to about 1.5x) + a diffused MT-26EX-RT, E-TTL metering, -2/3 FEC. This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held. In post I used Topaz Sharpen AI and Clarity in that order.

This is the same Bumblebee that my son Eddy found. It hung out on my patio overnight and I fed and photographed it the next day. Later on in the afternoon it finally got warm enough for the critter to fly off.

I injected Agave nectar into the Daisy the Bumblebee is feeding on.
