Dalantech, I really enjoyed watching your video. I am impressed with your use of lego:)
I found it very interesting to hear about the multiple layers of diffusion material and also to see the placement of your flash heads.
I tried adjusting my flash heads last night to bring them closer to the subject but the result wasn't that great - it was only a quick shoot in between lots of rain so I need to try again properly today weather permitting.

Thank you for sharing your video.

btw I watched another video where you had a bee on your finger (for a very short while) - that is impressive! How did you get a bee to land on your finger?

Hand held shot with 2 of my 3 extension tubes on. You can see the reflections of the flash heads in the bees eyes.

I think it was early in the day and a little chilly, so the critter was happy to sit on my finger and warm up.

I like the angle, but what happened to the detail in the eyes. There's no lenses.

I could watch this Sweat Bee foraging for pollen in a Sunflower all day. The hard part was tracking her as she moved with the MP-E 65mm set to 2x. This scene is only eleven millimeters wide. Lots of deleted frames.

Tech Specs: Canon 80D (F11, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (2x) + a diffused MT-26EX RT (E-TTL metering). This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held. In post I used Topaz Denoise AI, Sharpen AI, and Clarity in that order.

They are extremely fine and not particularly well defined, unlike many other insects.

Beautiful capture Dalantech !

Seems like lots of deleting frames and 2x and above run hand and hand. :)
Especially when one factors in hand holding And active critters!

Fabulous photo! I am curious about Sharpen AI and Clarity? I purchased Topaz Denoise AI the other day as it was just amazing. I see you tend to use all 3 of these filters. Would you recommend I also add Sharpen AI and Clarity to the mix? Who makes Clarity?
