Thanks to everyone who entered this week. Tough call as always but decided on the following:

Winner: OldCrow
Really like this shot and the half cut branch on the model made me think it was floating in very still water until I read the caption. Nice composition and good colours too.

Runner up: teekay
Nice clean shot of the bird with a good reflection underneath. Really like all of the grey tones captured in the shot which make the yellow legs stand out even more.

Also have to ask, how large is that body of water in your photograph, M_Six? I've looked at it for a while and it looks like quite a large bath to me, but I'm wondering if it's the perspective?

Next challenge to be set by OldCrow!

Congratulations to OldCrow and thanks for the #2 spot, Shep! I would have had a tough job judging this one, being intrigued by M_Six's cathedral shot and also really liking darkslinger's calm reflections.

Kudos to OldCrow and teekay.

Salisbury Cathedral has a fairly large fountain in the back end of the church. It doesn't spray water like a traditional fountain. It just runs out a small spout at one end. The water in it is very calm.

Thank you for the nod Shep.

Congratulations teekay and well done all.

I'll be offline next Thur and Fri and if no one has any objections the next challenge will run from today through next Fri. Winners will be announced on Saturday.
