Hello everyone,

I have been doing a lot more outdoor hikes in the Rocky Mountains off Calgary Alberta where I live. I find i am taking more crap-tastic pictures with my phone because carrying my Canon 7d Mark II out and in hand all the time is tiring and I need my hands.

I have seen several vests but I already carry a backpack with 3L of water, food, some warmer clothing and such.

I do not wish to use a strap buckle as testing with my bag, it would be very close to my arms and if i have to reach up I would hit my camera. Also, i carry bear spray on my left side and one longer hikes likely a 2nd one on my right side. A belt buckle wont do it either as again my arms are likely to hit it and i am sometimes going to be in dense forest so good chance of smacking my camera against something off the side of my hip.

I see Cotton has come up with the Skout, but it will not ship until November 2018:

This looks like exactly what I could use as it keeps the camera dead center of my chest, it wont wear like a full vest meaning more layers and heat and this would also be lighter.

My google-fu has not helped me find anything similar, has anyone seen something like this already on the market?
