Do you cringe too if you see bad wedding photographers?

I am by no means a professional and consider myself a mediocre photographer at best. But I see all these wedding photographer, where even I cringe watching them taking pictures. It's almost physically painful. Group pictures at high noon in the full sun without reflector or flash -- portrait shots against the sun, again without any compensation light -- full on flash, .... And these flawed wedding photographers get more numerous or I might just get more experienced;-)a. Am I the only one with this reaction?

No. You are not.

I've been guests at weddings shot by both the worst and best.

The worst:
Two photogs show up - each with a crop body. That is it. Using pop-up flash. Indiscriminately roaming the wedding and reception. They shot while dinner was being served/eaten.

The best:
Photog shows up with a team of well-prepared professionals (in every sense of the word). Guys wearing dark suits/white shirts/ties. Females in conservative dresses. IIRC, there were 3 shooters. Each shooter has two assistants carrying lights/reflectors. They also brought a videographer. Photogs/assistants in radio contact with each other. I believe the primary shooter (business owner) directed everything via radio, too. It was obvious that everyone on that team knew the church grounds, the church, and the reception hall. Top-flight operation. Photographer's name was Hannah Grace. She started in South Bend, Indiana. Last I heard, she was working on the east coast (US),somewhere.

My favourites are the ones that shoot with their permanently mounted on-camera flash bouncing off the clouds outside.

I plan on failing at the end of the month. Crop body (1.3x) and all! It should be spectacular.
