I did manage to get some shots of fifi after asking for advice on how to set up. Unfortunately fifi did not do a flypast so the only air shots that I managed to get were take-off and landing. I also was able to get on the tarmac and take numerous static shots.

I do not normally do aircraft shooting, this was completely new to me and was quite an eye-opener. Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Good start. #3 looks soft, but it does have a reasonable amount of prop blur.

Yeah, the blur is probably my hand holding technique. This is a first for me trying to handhold something at this shutter speed. I appreciate your suggestions. Thanks.

At the start of the year, it helps to do some practice with traffic to get used to keeping one focus point of the same part of the subject. There's some help in post #5 in First shoot with moving cars need advice.
