A couple of years ago had built a pond in my small garden (yard) with a small feeder pond and waterfall. The idea was that I could sit at my kitchen table and photograph birds drinking and bathing at the same level as the camera.
And it has worked well, with many birds coming to my pond, especially this summer which has largely been dry. So here are a few recent shots taken in poor light and at or near 100% crop. I used a Sony 7R3 and Canon 500 F4 with metabones adaptor. Which focuses quickly and , well here are some shots.
