Hi everybody,

Can anybody please tell me how can I get
this type of frame using Photoshop CS2........
If you can please tell me step by step......

kaipu: I could give you step by step instructions in photoshop how to do this but it is a little complicated and would require me to actually do it and walk through it with you and type it all out. A lot of work. A lot less work for you to google photoshop frame tutorials. There are a lot of them on the net. Try www.goodtutorials.com (external link)

Oh Please you guys just give the guy a clue here.

It is relatively simple if you want a simple frame. Go to image/canvas check relative box and increase the width & height by however much you want for instance if you want a really thin line try 0.065" then select the color you want and then click OK. Keep adding to it till you think it is enough.

Here is a sample using a sample picture from Win XP:

If you want something fancy you can do it using layers and selection tools.

Here is another example using image/canvas to inc the canvas size by 1" all around and on a new layer using the (add) rectangular marque tool to select the whole canvas and then using (subtract) to unselect the picture part. using the paint bucket fill it with color and using emboss to raise the frame up and satin to give a little shine. In filter/texture a gave it some texture and that is it:
