I was in our local park playing ball with my daughter and saw this bird land.
Of course play time stopped and I ran to my truck to get my camera.

Have no clue what it is... guessing Heron? Or Heren?

It is a great egret. Nice shots!

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

200 got you a pretty snappy photo; nicely done. Poses like that work well in environmental shots. It would be nice to get 400, but you'll find poses like that harder to frame well with longer FLs.

Careful; you'll get hooked and your bank account'll kick you in the ...shins. :D
