Well, I am pleased with the entries this week. I like them all - which makes my task difficult.

Jim's shot of the Korean war takes the top slot. It's got impact and brings back memories of meeting Scottish vets (and a US vet) who served in that brutal war. I have only one criticism though, I wish the tops of the helmets had been included.

Trumper takes second place because I am a sucker for sunsets and take a loty of landscapes :-)

Consolations to Maureen, Michael, Mark and OhLook but many thanks for taling part.

Wow, Martin...I didn’t expect this! I had pegged OhLook’s runners for the 1st Place nod :-)

Congrats to all who entered...lots of surperb photos and you made Martin’s task all the harder for it. :-)

Forget to add a big thanks to Martin for finding a theme that drew in more players! Well done Martin!

I clipped the helmet in the photo as I was focused on the soldier’s face. The artist who created this memorial did an incredible job of reflecting the stark realities of war in the soldier’s faces.

I’m still at the hospital with my wife. She is improving albeit slowly. We are going to be here for at least another week or so. I’ll try to post a challenge with my iPad...if that doesn’t work then I’ll put one up tonight when I get home.

Congrats to Jim & Trumper. My entry wasn't so much my best shot but my favorite shot. It is of 2 of my sisters and 1 niece who were getting down to 'Whip It' at my nephew's wedding. I still laugh every time I look at it.

Thanks for the challenge this week, Martin.
