AF with 16-35 2.8 III during video?

Mine doesn't AF during video using the MC-11. Can someone else confirm?

Talley I have a question that doesn't have to do with your original post but would help me a lot if you could give me your feedback. How does the 16-35III + MC-11 work out in photography? In autofocus and vignetting (the 16-35III has a lot of vigetting, with the converter is it worse/same/less)

um AF is solid but doesn't zone/expansion mode so just wide, center and spot AF. doesn't focus during video. IQ is same as on canon if not better due to sony sensor resolution.

My 35l mkii doesnt either..

As far as i know , canon l3nses dont af in video with mc11

Sigma lenses do though

ya it sucked when I first realized that when I had the 200/2 mounted and wanted to video one of my kids dances... you know... when I wasn't suppose to but photos were OK :)
