So how good are sales of the 30D? In Nottingham all 4 photo stores have them in stock and are ceratinly not shifting them as fast as when the 20D hit the shelves. I guess no real advances from the 20D and overpriced at the moment at £999 or £1099.
My guess is the prices will soon fall back to the £829/849 that was initially quoted by most stores when the 30D was announced.

Since you can get them for 829 in the UK, no surprise they are not shifting off the high streets....

Jessops has it for 1100 for the body. An extra 270 out of your hard earned money. I just refuse to buy things from this store. Their prices are outrageous.

they are in Canada as well but they are $1650 canadian dollars which makes them cheaper in the UK if the Euro 1.4 canadian I think. 1650 / 1.4= 1178.57

We don't use euro's in the UK - we use the British Pound.

2.03333 CAD = 1 GB Pound

At the current exchange rate your $1650 Canadian = £811.48

That's understandable - Jewelry Quarter - Euro's would negate the exchange rate in Holland :)

Dales in Leeds are selling the 30D for £849, they had 10 in stock on Friday.
