It was a disappointingly dreary day, but it seems that those are the kinds of days that you get the most activity. Plus, I'll take any kind of weather if it means I get to be outside doing what I love! Except wind... ugh, wind ruins everything.

My friends shoot with the d850,but man the size of those files! The D850 is tempting, and in the past when I had the Canon 500 f/4 II, I preferred having a FF/APS-C body, plus the 1.4/2.0 TCs in the bag. Very versatile, but I got tired of changing stuff all of the time. I like simple, and that's what I'm getting from the D500 and this 500PF: "the absence of choice breeds creativity", or something like that! Seriously, I see these birds every single time I go out, but have never had one land anywhere near me. I couldn't help but think of you & Robert when these guys started plucking & storing pecans from a tree adjacent to the garden where I was watching for humming birds. They just won't stop in an desirable spot. Lol! Image hosted by forum (1005238) © EyeSpyEagle [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. Didn't initially notice it was 300PF. Hosted photo: posted by EyeSpyEagle in ./showthread.php?p=18945967&i=i198960448 forum: Nikon Lenses Those pecans are huge! flickr
