I attended PhotoPlus this past week in NYC and played with the 500 PF. Unbelievably small, light and quality made. I was shocked when I laid eyes on it, lifted it up and saw how well it focused in the relatively dimly lit portion of the convention center.

I’ll more that likely own one. Great pics in this thread.

That's what's made me change to Nikon. Scary things is I'm only 45 but my back feels like its 99.

Well as life would have it, UPS showed up with my lens today but we're out of town all week

So it's waiting at the local UPS store for pickup Monday

You're right. That was from a trip couple of weeks ago. No Sun here. I really wonder why I live where I do
sometimes. I guess just comfort in the known.
Head to Bosque in 20 days. Will get to play with the 500PF again there. Now I'm assuming New Mexico is
blessed with Sun like Florida and want to do a kinda side by side with the 300PF +1.4 which is even smaller
wieldable package.

Picked up my lens today. I got back from Hawaii at 0500. 78F leaving there last night and at the end of a six hour flight it was 8F arriving in Anchorage this morning. Picked the dog up from the kennel, the lens from UPS, and took them both for a walk. Not wholly sane, I know.
