Normally when I travel abroad I take both my Ipad as well as my older Sony Vaio Laptop. While traveling after a day of photographjy I would simply download my images (using a memory card reader) directly to my laptop.

This time around (upcoming Brasil?Pantanal trip) I'd rather not lug along my Laptop so I can travel a bit lighter. How do I transfer images from my camera to my Ipad?

Thank You.

Indeed use the SD card reader to put images from SD cards into the iPad. I first put the card into a WD wireless passport to make a copy and then load the images into the iPad. That lets me bring home two copies.
