Won 60-18. Other team threw about 50 passes. Made for an extremely long night. Refs called 25 penalties between both teams. Made the night even longer. Second pic isn't really in focus, but I like the action. RB had 385 yards and 6 TD's.

Nice action. I think you need to bump shutter speed a bit.

Thanks for posting.

Yeah 2nd shot was as much as I could get. Was on AV, 12800 and 2.8. Just can't get much more with the 70d. I wish I could go full frame, but can't justify upgrading right now.

You did pretty well I think, ISO 12800 is pushing it on the 70D.

Well, if you want to call 7:30 - 8pm-ish day, sure... :)

A setting sun and post processing makes for good results. It gets dark quickly after this point.

This time of year, I'll take it. Another month and it will be completely dark!

Definitely consider the 5D4 in the future, it will knock your socks off compared to the 70D. AF is fast, AF in low light, and high ISO is nice.

I would have loved the 5D4, but could not handle the price. Just got the 6D for $999 (it's already back up to $1,699 so I'm glad I got it when I did). The FPS are definitely not geared towards sports but was ready to go FF mostly for upcoming basketball season.
