Hello all,
As usual great pictures in this thread. I’ve just picked up a 5D for not a huge amount of money and the first thing I did was bring it on holiday! No pictures as yet, but a couple of questions which undoubtedly may have been asked before...
1. Does anyone have a link for a reputable download for the latest firmware? I’ve only got 1 CF card, a 16gig one that came with the camera, but it only sees it as 8.
2. Will this 16 gig card be ok to use for the upgrade?

Once you upgrade to latest firmware, you will be able to use up to 32GB.

Thank you HariHacker, I've just upgraded the firmware without any issues using the link you put in above.
I must admit, it was a bit nervy, as I only have older batteries and was using a borrowed windows machine with a card reader!
If anyone else is looking for this, the card used was a 16gig card and it updated fine. Reformat the card afterwards to get to 16gig.
