Hi,

I got me this Powershot G3 a couple of years ago. With it came a CD with software.
During the past years I have updated the Zoombrowser, till the most recent version: ZB560aUPD_EN.exe. However, not all software that came with the original CD, is updated as well. Amongst others PhotoStitch is vanished from the updates.
I contacted Canon about this and got this answer: The newest version of photostitch is 3.1.16.38 (I've got version 3.1.10.27), but ain't downloadable. Does anyone know a way to get hold of this new version (without having to buy a new camera), so I can install it?

TIA,
Marcel

How serious are you about doing panoramas?
The Canon offering is very basic not much more than a toy.
There are much better programmes out there, PT assembler is one of the best, but there a few to chose from.
www.tawbaware.com (external link) This site has been up and down for the last two days, but is well worth visiting, for tutorials and down loading PTAssembler.
Don't bother to try today you likely won,t get through.
