Hello guys. After a long time, I'm planning to get back on Nikon system. I have a plan to get D7100 (had one few years ago) and I'm planning to get Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 AF-D, two rings version. My question is, should I expect certain problems with it on "newer" DX body? I have seen some posts where people were complaining about back-focus issue od digital bodies. On what things should I pay attention? All focal lenghts when its wide open? How to test in a propper way? Thanks in advance. Best regards. Aleks

All the Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 lens are good, the one you are talking about is like my old push/pull one it is a bit slow in focus compared to the new ones. However I still use my push/pull one on occasions for doing rugby on a D500 and it keeps up with a fast running player.
