Seeds and spent flower/seed stalks of miner's lettuce, Claytonia perfoliata, an incredibly prolific producer of tiny black seed. The largest seeds here measured about 1.5 mm on the longest diameter.

Incidentally, the plant debris that I laboriously filtered out included a few smaller gray objects that have a waffle pattern and are probably weed seeds, identity unknown.
