Who's getting it, the rumour mill was right on the price, this is what I've been waiting for. ߘ

The price is definitely going to move this one. I have owned the XT-2 since release and have loved every moment using it. The XT-3 shows advantages over that. I'm not crazy about the smudge screen, but the improved sensor and processor will make AF much better, so the purchase is definitely in mind for myself.

I with you on the wimp side, I want one but I’m not ready to make my XT2 a backup just yet.

same here, will look into adding one to my collection next year... I like the improvements in the X-T3, but my X-T2 is still doing everything I need it to... Also hoping to see if we get some new features in the X-T2 via firmware... I would happy if we get that prism focusing mode...

I'm really tempted by this release. The X-T3 has all the things I'm looking for. It's smaller and a lot lighter than my 5D3, it has a tilt screen, much better AF point coverage, silent shutter, the lenses are smaller and lighter but still top notch...
I've never held an X-T in my hands though, so I'll wait for Photokina to try one. I also don't know how the high iso noise amount compares to that of the 5D3, and there isn't an exact equivalent of the lenses (focal length wise) that I own, so all in all I'm really not sure if switching would be the right thing to do.

I switched from an 5D3 to an X-T1, I found ISO performance to be on par... I quickly jumped up to the X-T2 once I sold my 5D3 to gain some of the AF performance and it further improved ISO performance... The X-T3 will be far better than the 5D3... :-)

What he said, except for me it was from a 6D to XT-1. Then XT-2, now XT-3 on pre-order. I love that camera!
