I hope someone can help me as I’ve been trawling the ‘net for a kit bag without success. I’m looking for a kit bag that’ll hold my Canon M3 and M5, 6-8 lenses, small flash and various bits and bobs (memory cards, batteries etc) so it obviously needs smaller compartments and dividers than needed for DSLR’s and lenses. Any ideas please? It doesn’t matter if it’s a shoulder bag or backpack. Thanks!

As a starting point, I always recommend the Lowepro Bagfinder at https://bagfinder.lowepro.com/lp/choose-profile (external link). You can add your equipment and it will make a recommendation as to Lowepro bags that will work. Even if you don't go with Lowepro for the final purchase, the size of the "Bagfinder" recommended bag will at least be a reasonable starting point.

Excellent, thank you! I’ll give it go. ߑͰߏ

UPDATE: Thanks for your help John and I settled on this bag as it’s perfect for my needs. It can hold 2 EOS M bodies, 7 lenses, flashgun and other bits and bobs. I paid half what the Lowepro website quotes! ;-)a

I've been very interested in this bag for my EOS M kit as well, let me know what you think!

Get it! It’s absolutely perfect if you have more than one EOS M* body and a couple of lenses.

For me, it's between this and the Tenba Messenger DNA 8. I'm not a big fan of bags that open from the back like this (prefer the Flipside style), but love the look and size of this bag. Decisions, decisions.

I am using the Tenba Messenger DNA 15. Previously I was considering the ThinkTank Photo CityWalker30 (think it is discontinued).

I'm looking for a minimalist bag with the smallest footprint for the EOS M and 2-3 lenses. The bags I have are perfect for DSLR's, but this smaller kit seems to get lost in those bags. They are way too big for what I would need. So looking for something with a more streamlined look and thinner profile if possible.

I have a Lowepro Slingshot (I think it's the 100AW, it's old), the Lowepro Photosport 200AW, and a Pelican 1514. The tiny EOS M gets absolutely swallowed up by all these.

Have a look here:

I have the BP150 which easily holds two M bodies and seven lenses in the main compartment, plus flash on other bits and bobs in top section.
