I have been an adamant user of the wonderful picture file sorting/renaming program DIM (Digital Image Mover) for quite some time; it is the first step taken when I plug a card in the reader.

I have DIM version 225.

I have seen quite a bit of reference to a more recent build, 228.

DIM has always done just exactly what I needed it to and done it well.

However, I had reason last night to sort/rename a batch of photos where I needed the (in my case) three digit suffix to be a prefix instead and I don't think my version has that capability.

I have a host of other programs that do have the ability to put the numerical order as a prefix or a suffix; however, DIM has enough sense to give the RAW files the same name/number as the jpegs; whereas, all of the other programs treat the RAW files as separate files, giving them a different number than the matching jpeg.

I accomplished what I was seeking in a round-a-bout way that took several extra steps.

I was hoping a later version of DIM might have the ability to make the "suffix" a prefix instead.

Alas, when I went to the DIM site, there is hardly any information at all, no download options that I could find, and only a "donate" button.

Every reference I could find to DIM had a link that would take me to that exact same useless page.

There was an "email me" button; but, that only opened some weird "Outlook" window that wanted me to register for some weird e-mail; there was no actual e-mail address that I could find.

From all indications, DIM must have went by the wayside; if anyone knows anything to the contrary, I would like to know about it.

Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.
