What flash system are you guys using for indoors, bouncing off the ceiling?

I don’t use flash as much with the FujiFilm system as much as I did with my Canons, only because it is more difficult in dark rooms.

I turn off the exposure preview on the EVF. It’s in Menu, under screen settings. The EVF, doesn’t work well when using strobes with the ambient light dialed way back. By turning off the exposure preview you are able to see the actual scene through your viewfinder/ EVF instead of minus 2-3 stops (which is how I like to set the Fuji's up in Manual for bounce flash).

That is really the only thing I miss about Canon is their amazing flash algorithms. If you put the Canon in Manual and set the ISO to read about two stops under, the used the flash (even bounced) the exposure was typically right on the money.

If you use something like the Godox flashes, how do you set things up for on-camera bounce flash?

Godox flashes work the same, I use the speed lights and studio strobes with no problem. I set my exposure preview to off dial in the iso, F and shutter I like then adjust the power on the light as needed.

I've used godox TT685-S with my Sony and though I don't have a dedicated for fuji X-T2 I've got the Xpro-F trigger and a TT or a Wing will follow. I'm not using on Camera flash much so haven't needed a dedicated unit yet.

same here, though I would add I have one TTL capable Godox speedlight, I don't use TTL much... I use the trigger and bounce the flash straight to the ceiling...
