Lol John, yes you helped .. all of you did :)

Vertos are taking a series of vertical pics, and stitching them together as a panorama, that's all. It's sort of like a panorama on an iPhone; the iPhone does it continuously, but with a DSLR you gotta do it yourself :p

See the example below; the jpgs on the top are SOOC. I took 5 vertical shots, merged them in CS6, cropped, and then treated. Prolly 20 minutes tops .... my machine has gotten faster, but it still ain't no speed demon :)

All shots should be the same setting, but if you notice I somehow screwed up the third one, so it took a little time to make it look like the others.

I just upgraded to Windows 10, and did a bunch of house cleaning... have 90 GB to use now. Windows 10 is brighter, but a little slower. I'll keep tweaking.

I have my eye on a 4GH Haswell on ebay I might BUYNOW tomorrow for $225; should be rocking then :) I think I'll upgrade to a new 1TB Samsung 870 as well and clone; this cloning is friggin' awesome!!

Freddy

Thanks for the clarification on "vertos". I've never heard the term nor has Google apparently, at least using vertos, vertos image, and vertos photography as search terms. Interesting technique using the portrait format; I've done stitching, but commonly use the landscape format.
