These are a couple of beauties. I had to look up that first one. I honestly thought you might be pulling our legs. Quite the interesting bird. Love the clean, contrasting BG in the second shot. Nicely done.

I'm pretty sure I took a different pic of a Lilac-breasted roller every day I was out there :) They are very pretty and then they have call like squawk of a Jay!

The little bee-eater. He was flying along side the road, almost paralleling our vehicle. I could tell he was looking for a branch to settle on. I saw the bush with the dead branch and told our guide.... "I'm sure he's going to stop there" He did, and I was in a perfect spot for a good few shots while the bird rested for about 30 secs before moving on again. Luck!
