Most camera sliders move in one direction, and a few have a rotating head. Here's a new type (as far as I'm aware... haven't seen any others like it) that can move in two dimensions with a rotating head. The goal was to take Inverted Radial timelapse videos, where a foreground object is kept in view while the background pans. Here are a few sample timelapse videos (external link).

There's a few improvements to make. The rotation jumps around a bit, hopefully the hardware can be improved to reduce it. Otherwise I'll look into image stabilization software :)
