The empty exoskeleton of a southern oak bush cricket I found floating in my small pond. I don't think it's an exuvium (shed skin) as there does not seem to be an exit hole.
5Dmk2/MPE-65/430Ex flash. Focus stacks using zerene.

Thanks Rick.
The pond has water measurers living on it that do exactly that , suck the insides out of drowning bugs with their long proboscis. I can only guess it was them. See photo below
