I was on a new setting with my camera and when I took these theyu looked good on the screen.
But once downloaded it was a totally different story.
They had the horrible blue sheen to them and I tried my best to get it out.
And these are what I got.
I'm not totally happy with them and I will head back there again and see if I can get better next time.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.
It is just something that I may not like.

What processing did you do to reduce the blue sheen? On my monitor both gulls now seem to have a green sheen. Normally when I get a result like this my first solution is to use the white balance tool in Camera RAW - or the "remove colour cast" tool in Photoshop Elements, which does the same thing. Indulge me if you already know this, but with this tool you can adjust the white balance by clicking on any neutral shade of white, grey or black. Here it's easiest to click on the grey of the gull's back. I find that no white, black or grey is ever as uniform as it appears, so click in different places until you get a result you like. I tried this in PSE on your first photo and the very first click I did solved the problem immediately.

Canon 7D2 · 16-35 f/4L IS · 17-55 f/2.8 IS · 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS STM · 50 f/1.8 · 100 f/2.8 Macro · 100-400L IS II
Picture editing is OK. CC always welcome.

On my screen these are white and grey no green what so ever.
So to make the changes you have mentioned as far as I can see would be a waster of time.
And I am only saying that due to them looking totally fine on my side.

I see green as well. Perhaps it is time to calibrate your monitor.
