Lens is in good shape. The only thing and I am not sure if this is an normal with this lens or not is if you have the lens point down the zoom slides out. Not a big deal just wanted to mention it.

Hello,
Does the lens show any sign of fungus? The reason I ask is that I already have this lens but it does have fungus on the lens. Thank you.

mounted frequently for years on my classic 5D (& later 5D2), this lens held its own - and then some. lots of smiles while processing its images.

maybe mention its earlier version of image stabilization (still not bad), USM focus motor, and "semi-micro" mode w/1.6' MFD. in many situations, it was effective. but not all.

I've never quite understood the lack of respect and value afforded this lens. Which quickly explains why my copy will continue to remain in my collection, with my 5D & assorted other contemporary lenses. every once in a while, I still shoot with it. no hardship.

Good luck with your sale.
